Beton Shimi Company was established in 1978 under the name of Tange Chemical Company and registered in the Companies Registration Office under number 36696 and in 1980 its name was changed to Beton Shimi. The company’s production was initially very limited, but over time and with the help of the research and development laboratory, significant effects have been made on the quantity and quality of the company’s products (epoxy grout). The research and development unit was established in 1993 with the permission of the Ministry of Industries and started its activities in the same year. Belief in quality led the company to provide the necessary requirements for establishing a quality management system in the organization and to obtain the quality management certificate (ISO9001) from the Norwegian DNV Institute in 1995 and since that year it has complied with its requirements and implemented periodic reviews in accordance with the latest versions in its organizational systems. In addition, due to its adherence to customer-oriented principles, the company was selected as one of the top ten companies producing construction materials by consumers in 1990. The Beton Shimi Company brand is a pioneer brand in the construction chemical additives and materials industry, epoxy grout and various types of concrete additives, which are well-known among major consulting and contracting companies. The company owes its more than 40-year survival to the loyalty of its customers and its organizational culture. Today, Beton Shimi’s products include more than 60 different chemical products, and exports to Middle Eastern countries (Iraq, Afghanistan, the United Arab Emirates and the CIS) and sales agencies in major cities of the country are among the capabilities of the group.
Research and development work continues in the production of new products in accordance with the specific orders and needs of consumers. The factory’s production capacity is more than 40,000 tons per year. The production plant is 23,000 square meters in area, has three production lines in two separate halls for the production of various liquid, paste and powder products, a warehouse of materials and products, and two equipped quality control laboratories, and all products are controlled and produced according to ASTM and EN standards and the internal standard model.
